Starz’s “Power” Trailer — Upcoming Drug Kingpin Series From Exec-Producer Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson

Besides hip-hop albums, rapper/actor/producer/entrepreneur Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson has so far developed feature films, semi-autobiographical crime books, a clothing company, and even a vitamin water drink. This year, he adds a cable TV show to that list as he is set to reveal a new high-power gangster drama for the STARZ network, in which he's executive producing.

Created by "The Good Wife" producer Courtney Kemp Agboh, "Power" stars Omari Hardwick (The A-Team) as a New York mogul who is trying (but failing) to keep his secret life as a cutthroat drug kingpin from interfering with his public life as a "legit" nightclub owner.

Co-starring Joseph Sikora, Naturi Naughton and Lela Loren, the eight-episode crime drama premieres on STARZ this summer, but you can get a taste of the glamorous criminal life by checking out the show's debut trailer, above.

His club, Truth, caters to the elite: the famous and infamous boldface names that run the city that never sleeps. As its success grows, so do Ghost's plans to build an empire.
